What do we see in this work of art?
This image “Calf” printed on the backpack by Korean artist Dear.Bon.Vivant shows us the face of a young cow. Although we can find these animals almost everywhere in the world, our artist has decided to bring a particularly cute specimen home to you. The viewer immediately notices the calf's bright and almost magnetic eyes, which look deep into our own eyes. Perhaps the artist would like to draw our attention to the fate of many calves in this way, because the look almost seems to contain something sad. The white on the young animal's face is framed by the brown in the fur, which forms the characteristic spots of our good-natured meadow dwellers. The ears are, as is usual with children's faces, disproportionately large and make the viewer smile.
