What do we see in this poster - nymph?
This poster-printed mural “Nymph” by Russian artist Mari Dein shows a woman’s naked torso. The focus is on the shapes of the back and arms. The face cannot be recognized. The artist is known for using oil paints and so this work of art was painted with oil on a canvas. The colors are deliberately abstract and only a few spots are reminiscent of actual skin colors. The overall tone of the image is rather cool, as the colors blue and green predominate in the image. The purple and pink colors also contribute. The artist has dedicated herself to the female forms and depicts them in her very own way.
